The Open Heart
Isha always told her friends exactly what she thought, kindly but honestly. Some people found it too direct, but they always knew where they stood with her. Another girl tended to say one thing and mean another, and no one quite trusted her. Isha's mother said that openness is the best way to build trust, and Isha kept being herself.

Wherever You Go
A young teacher named Anil travelled to many countries to share what he knew. At every school he visited, children welcomed him with flowers and questions. He said that wealth and power may stay at home, but knowledge travels in your pocket. His students often wrote to him years later with news of their work.

The Harsh Truth
When Darren's teacher pointed out his mistakes, he felt hurt and wanted to avoid class. After a while, he realised that the teacher was simply trying to help. He began to read her comments carefully and fix his work. By the end of the year, his writing had improved so much that she wrote him a certificate.
