Add fractions by topping the answer on a pizza – same denominators first, then halves plus quarters and more.
How to play
Work out the total of the two fractions, then tap that many slices on the pizza. When the denominators are different, change the first fraction into slices of the second size before you add.
⌨️ Keyboard: ↑ adds a slice, ↓ removes one, Enter checks. Tab and Space also work on each slice.
What it teaches
Adding fractions with the same denominator is a Year 5 skill, and adding related denominators (like halves and quarters) comes in Year 6. A pizza model shows why you add the numerators but keep the slice size.
