Each question asks how many are in each group (or how many groups there are). Think of the matching times-table fact – 24 ÷ 6 is the same as asking 6 × ? = 24 – then type the answer.

What it teaches
Division facts come from knowing multiplication facts, and the Australian Curriculum links the two from Year 3. Fluent division underpins fractions, ratios and long division in later years.
