🐢 Decimal Number Line
Place tenths and hundredths on a number line, from 0 to 1 up to decimals between 0 and 3.
How to play
Each tick on the line is one tenth (or five hundredths on the hard level). Count along from a whole number to find the decimal, then tap. The turtle shows where you landed and a green mark shows the exact spot.
⌨️ Keyboard: ← and → move the marker, Enter jumps.
What it teaches
Decimals extend place value to the right of the decimal point. Australian students meet tenths in Year 4 and hundredths in Year 5, and placing decimals on a line is the clearest way to compare them.
Levels: Tenths 0–1 (Each tick is 0.1) · Tenths 0–3 (Labels every 0.5) · Hundredths (Ticks every 0.05)
