📚 Story Sequencing
Read the events of a short story or set of instructions and put them in the order they happened.
How to play
Read every card first. Think about what has to happen before something else can happen, and look for time words like first, then and finally. Tap the cards in order from beginning to end.
⌨️ Keyboard: press a card's number to place it next, Backspace to take the last one back.
What it teaches
Sequencing events shows understanding of how texts are structured, from simple procedures in Year 1 to narratives with time connectives in Years 4–6. It is a key comprehension skill for retelling and summarising.
Levels: How-to steps (4 steps) · Short stories (5 events) · Longer stories (5–6 events)
Free to play, with no sign-up and no ads beside the game. Best scores are saved only in this browser. All artwork and sounds are made in code by makekite.
