🎵 Rhyme Time Pairs
A memory game where you find pairs of rhyming words, like cat and hat or moon and spoon.
How to play
Turn over two cards. If the words rhyme (they end with the same sound), they stay face up. If not, they turn back over – try to remember where they were. Find every pair to win.
⌨️ Keyboard: Tab between cards and press Enter or Space to turn one over.
What it teaches
Recognising and producing rhymes is an early phonological awareness skill taught in Foundation and Year 1. Noticing that rhyming words often share a spelling pattern (cake, lake) supports spelling by analogy.
Levels: 6 pairs (Easy rhymes) · 8 pairs (More rhymes) · 10 pairs (Tricky spellings)
Free to play, with no sign-up and no ads beside the game. Best scores are saved only in this browser. All artwork and sounds are made in code by makekite.
