How to play
Turn over two cards and read the words aloud. If they are the same word, they stay face up. If not, remember where they were and try again. Find every pair to finish.

What it teaches
Reading a word many times in a fun context helps it become a “sight word” that is recognised instantly. Saying the word aloud on each flip adds valuable repetition for Foundation to Year 2 readers.
