How to play
Add the coins from biggest to smallest – it is easier to count on from the large ones. Then tap the total. Remember: 100 cents make one dollar.
⌨️ Keyboard: number keys add coins, Backspace removes the last one, Enter checks.
What it teaches
Counting collections of coins is a Year 2 outcome, and Year 3 students represent money values in different ways. Ordering coins by value before counting is a useful strategy because Australian coin size does not match value.
