Common questions
Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. You get a link that makes your own copy in Google Sheets. We opened the Google Sheets copy and checked that the Check sheet passes.
Can I use it for a different financial year?
Yes. Change the date the financial year starts on the Setup sheet. It is set up for 1 July to 30 June.
Does it connect to my bank?
No. You type in your figures, so nothing is shared with anyone.
How are dates shown?
The year start date shows in your computer's own date style, for example Sunday, 1 November 2026 in Australia, or Sunday, November 01, 2026 in the US.
Is this financial advice?
No. It is a general planning tool. Speak to a licensed adviser about your own situation.
