Story Paper with Picture Box
Story paper with a drawing box above primary handwriting lines. Kids draw the picture, then write the sentence underneath.
What it's for
Story paper pairs a picture box with three-line handwriting rows, so beginning writers can plan with a drawing and then write about it. It works for news, recounts and reading responses.
Which size to choose
A4 portrait gives a large box and four to six rows. A5 suits a small book made from folded pages.
Printing tips
- Pick the paper size above first. The print dialog should then show the same size; if it doesn't, choose it there too.
- Set Scale to 100% or Actual size (not "Fit to page") so measurements stay true. Margins are already built into the sheet.
- Turn off "Headers and footers" in the print dialog for a clean edge.
- Choose Grey to save ink, or Black if you will photocopy the page.
