8 mm Ruled Paper with Margin
Lined paper in the 8 mm ruling used in Australian exercise books, with a red margin. Change the spacing from 6 mm to 14 mm.
What it's for
Most Australian school exercise books are ruled at 8 mm with a left margin. This page reproduces that layout, and you can change the line spacing for younger students (10–14 mm) or for compact notes (6–7 mm).
Which size to choose
A4 matches exercise books and display folders. A5 suits half-size workbooks and A3 works for whole-class modelled writing.
Printing tips
- Pick the paper size above first. The print dialog should then show the same size; if it doesn't, choose it there too.
- Set Scale to 100% or Actual size (not "Fit to page") so measurements stay true. Margins are already built into the sheet.
- Turn off "Headers and footers" in the print dialog for a clean edge.
- Choose Grey to save ink, or Black if you will photocopy the page.
