Primary Handwriting Paper
Three-line handwriting paper with a solid top line, dashed midline and baseline for early writers. Choose 10–24 mm rows.
What it's for
Each row has a top line for tall letters, a dashed middle line for the body of small letters and a baseline to sit on. Larger rows (18–24 mm) suit Foundation and Year 1; smaller rows suit Years 2–3 as letters shrink.
Which size to choose
A4 portrait is the usual choice for classrooms. Try landscape with 24 mm rows for first name practice.
Printing tips
- Pick the paper size above first. The print dialog should then show the same size; if it doesn't, choose it there too.
- Set Scale to 100% or Actual size (not "Fit to page") so measurements stay true. Margins are already built into the sheet.
- Turn off "Headers and footers" in the print dialog for a clean edge.
- Choose Grey to save ink, or Black if you will photocopy the page.
