What it's for
Write family favourites on matching cards for a recipe box or binder. Each card has a title line, serves, prep and cook time, and two columns for ingredients and method.
Which size to choose
A6 and 4 × 6 in cards print two per A4 or Letter sheet (four on A3); 3 × 5 in cards print four per sheet. Card stock lasts longer in the kitchen.
Printing tips
- Pick the paper size above first. The print dialog should then show the same size; if it doesn't, choose it there too.
- Set Scale to 100% or Actual size (not "Fit to page") so measurements stay true. Margins are already built into the sheet.
- Turn off "Headers and footers" in the print dialog for a clean edge.
- Choose Grey to save ink, or Black if you will photocopy the page.
