Index Card Template
Print your own 3 × 5 or 4 × 6 inch index cards, A6 or A7 cards, lined, grid or blank, with cutting guides.
What it's for
Index cards are ideal for flash cards, speech notes and study revision. Lined cards copy the classic red header line with blue ruling. Print on light card (160–200 gsm) for sturdier cards.
Which size to choose
A4 and US Letter each fit four 3 × 5 in or A7 cards, or two 4 × 6 in or A6 cards; A3 fits ten 3 × 5 in cards. The page picks the layout that fits the most cards.
Printing tips
- Pick the paper size above first. The print dialog should then show the same size; if it doesn't, choose it there too.
- Set Scale to 100% or Actual size (not "Fit to page") so measurements stay true. Margins are already built into the sheet.
- Turn off "Headers and footers" in the print dialog for a clean edge.
- Choose Grey to save ink, or Black if you will photocopy the page.
