🦋 Life Cycles in Order
Put the stages of life cycles in order – chickens, butterflies, frogs, plants, kangaroos – plus the water cycle.
How to play
Start with the first stage – usually an egg or a seed – and tap each stage in the order it happens. If you get stuck, think about what each stage needs to grow into the next one.
⌨️ Keyboard: press a card's number to place it next, Backspace to take the last one back.
What it teaches
Life cycles are part of Year 1 and Year 4 Science in the Australian Curriculum, and the water cycle appears in Year 7. Comparing cycles shows that some animals change completely (metamorphosis) while others just grow bigger.
Levels: Easy (3–4 stages) · Medium (4–5 stages) · Hard (Science names)
