About this Christmas printable
Mazes help children plan ahead and control a pencil, and a pile of them is useful for long car trips to see family at Christmas. The medium size suits most primary school children, while younger ones can choose the small maze and older ones the large or huge sizes. Each maze has exactly one path, and the solution page shows it. Print a few different ones, since each press of New puzzle makes a new maze.
Tips
- Try working backwards from the finish, since dead ends are often easier to spot from that direction.
- Use a pencil so that you can rub out wrong turns.
- Children can use a coloured pencil or a toy car, drawn in a line, to trace the path.
- Each maze is a 'perfect' maze with exactly one route, so there are no loops to confuse you.
Common questions
Is there always a solution?
Yes. Every maze has exactly one path from START to FINISH.
Can I make the maze harder?
Choose a larger size. The very large and huge mazes have many more dead ends.
