In English
You are the oldest of all old things, and the newest of all new things, and always the same. We have you as our Lord, and are your glorious servants. We will bow at the feet of your devotees and be close to them. They alone will be our husbands, and we will be glad of them. We will serve them as servants, just as they tell us. If you, our Lord, grant us only this much, we will have no lack at all.
About this verse
