கோழிகள் கூவ, பறவைகள் எங்கும் ஒலிக்கின்றன. ஏழிசை முழங்க, வெண்சங்குகள் எங்கும் முழங்குகின்றன. ஒப்பற்ற பரஞ்சோதியை, ஒப்பற்ற பெருங்கருணையை, ஒப்பற்ற உயர்ந்த பொருள்களைப் பாடினோம்; நீ கேட்கவில்லையா? நீ வாழ்க! இது என்ன உறக்கம்? வாய் திறந்து பேசு. ஆழம் மிக்க இறைவனிடம் அன்பு கொள்வது இப்படித்தானா? யுகங்களுக்கு முதல்வனாக நின்ற ஒருவனை, உமையை ஒரு பாகமாக உடையவனையே பாடுவோம்.
In English
The cocks crow and birds call everywhere. White conches sound everywhere, answering the seven notes of music. We sang of the peerless Supreme Light and his peerless great mercy, and of peerless, excellent truths. Did you not hear? Long life to you! What kind of sleep is this? Open your mouth. Is this how love for the deep and mighty Lord shows itself? Let us sing of the One who stands as the first of the ages, the one who shares his body with the Lady.
