In English

His flower feet go below the seven underworlds, beyond all words. His flower-wreathed crown is the end of every thing. He shares his body with the Lady, and his form is not one alone. Though the Vedas, the gods and the earth all praise him, he is beyond telling, a companion among his servants. Girls of the temple of Hara, of the faultless line, what is his town? What is his name? Who are his kin and who are strangers? How shall we sing of him?

About this verse

After the lively verses of waking, this one is quiet and wondering. It asks how anyone can describe a Lord whose feet are below the world and whose crown is above everything, and what kind of song could be enough.
