In English

The gems in the crowns of the gods who go to bow at the lotus feet of the Lord of Annamalai lose their brightness before him, just as when the sun's rays come, they drive away the dark, and the cool light fades and the stars disappear. He is woman, man and neither, full of shining light, he is the sky, the earth and all this, and yet is different from all of it. He stands as nectar for the eyes. We sing of his anklets. Girl, leap into this flowering water and bathe.

About this verse
