A short summary in Tamil and in plain English, one part for each line of the verse, written for this page.
In English
Again and again she says, 'My Lord, our Lord.' Her mouth never stops praising him, and her heart overflows with joy. Long streams of tears flow from her eyes and never stop. She bows down to the earth, but does not bow to the heavenly ones. How does a person become so madly in love with the great King? Who else takes people over in this way? We sing of the feet of that wise Lord. Girls with your fine ornaments, let us sing with our whole mouths and leap into the lovely flowering water to bathe.
