In English

You are the great treasure that even the gods in heaven cannot approach. You have made us, your servants, come to the earth and live here. You live in rich Thiruperunthurai, and we are servants by descent. You are honey that stands within the eyes and gives delight, ocean-nectar and sugarcane, for those who love you. You live in the thoughts of your devotees and are the life of the world. Our Lord, please rise from your bed.

About this verse

This verse says that the Lord, who is out of reach of the heavenly gods, has come close to ordinary people and lives in the minds of his devotees. The images are of honey, nectar and sugarcane, all sweet things.
