Three-Point Perspective Grid
Three-point perspective grid for dramatic bird's-eye or worm's-eye views of tall buildings, with a third vanishing point off the page.
What it's for
Adding a third vanishing point above or below the page makes vertical lines converge too, giving the dramatic look of looking down from, or up at, a skyscraper.
Which size to choose
A3 gives the most room; A4 portrait works for single buildings.
Printing tips
- Pick the paper size above first. The print dialog should then show the same size; if it doesn't, choose it there too.
- Set Scale to 100% or Actual size (not "Fit to page") so measurements stay true. Margins are already built into the sheet.
- Turn off "Headers and footers" in the print dialog for a clean edge.
- Choose Grey to save ink, or Black if you will photocopy the page.
