One-Point Perspective Grid
One-point perspective drawing grid with a horizon line, central vanishing point and guide lines for rooms, roads and hallways.
What it's for
In one-point perspective every depth line meets at a single vanishing point on the horizon. Trace along the guide lines to draw rooms, streets and railway tracks that recede convincingly.
Which size to choose
A4 landscape suits most scenes; raise or lower the horizon to change the viewpoint.
Printing tips
- Pick the paper size above first. The print dialog should then show the same size; if it doesn't, choose it there too.
- Set Scale to 100% or Actual size (not "Fit to page") so measurements stay true. Margins are already built into the sheet.
- Turn off "Headers and footers" in the print dialog for a clean edge.
- Choose Grey to save ink, or Black if you will photocopy the page.
