Singapore take-home pay calculator

Employee CPF and income tax on a Singapore salary, with take-home pay per year and month, using the Year of Assessment 2026 tax rates.

An estimate for a tax resident for the Year of Assessment 2026. It includes CPF relief and Earned Income Relief only, so other reliefs, rebates, allowances and benefits are not included. CPF rates apply to wages over $750 a month and change in the month after your birthday. Check IRAS and the CPF Board for current figures.

How this calculator works

Employee CPF is a percentage of your wages up to a monthly ceiling of $8,000 (and a yearly total of $102,000 with bonuses): 20% under 55, 18% for 55 to 59, 12.5% for 60 to 64, 7.5% for 65 to 69 and 5% from 70. Your employee CPF is tax-relieved, and Earned Income Relief takes off a further $1,000 (under 55), $6,000 (55 to 59) or $8,000 (60 and over). Tax is then charged on the chargeable income that is left, from 0% on the first $20,000 up to 24% above $1 million.

Worked example: on $6,000 a month (under 55, citizen) income is $72,000. Employee CPF is 20% × $72,000 = $14,400, and with $1,000 of Earned Income Relief the chargeable income is $56,600. Tax is $550 + 7% × $16,600 = $1,712. Take-home pay is $72,000 − $14,400 − $1,712 = $55,888 a year, or about $4,657 a month.
