In English

Praise! Be gracious: praise to your flower feet, the beginning of all. Praise! Be gracious: praise to your red-leaf feet, the end of all. Praise to your golden feet, from which every life arises. Praise to your flower anklets, which give every life its joy. Praise to your two feet, in which every life comes to its end. Praise to your lotus feet, which Vishnu and Brahma could not see. Praise to your golden flowers, which take us as your own that we may be saved. Praise! Let us bathe in Margazhi.

About this verse

The last verse is a series of eight praises to the Lord's feet, as the beginning, the end, the source, the joy and the final home of all life. It closes with the call to bathe in the Margazhi waters, and is often sung at the end of the whole set.
