In English
The Lord Madhava, Kesava, who churned the ocean: girls with moon-like faces and fine jewels went and bowed to him, and received the gift of the vow. This is that story, told by Kodai, daughter of Bhattarpiran of beautiful Puduvai, who wears a garland of fresh lotus. These thirty verses form a garland of pure Tamil. Those who recite them without fail will receive the grace of Tirumal, who has four mountain-like shoulders, red eyes and a beautiful face, and they will find joy everywhere.
About this verse
The last verse is a closing blessing. Andal, who is also called Kodai, names herself and her father Periyalvar of Srivilliputhur (old Puduvai), and says that anyone who recites all thirty verses will receive the Lord's grace.
