How this calculator works
L/100 km = litres ÷ km × 100. US mpg = 235.215 ÷ (L/100 km). Imperial mpg = 282.481 ÷ (L/100 km).
Worked example: 41.6 L over 520 km is 8.0 L/100 km, or 12.5 km/L, 29.4 US mpg or 35.3 UK mpg. At $1.95 a litre that's $15.60 per 100 km.
